Gong Bath Meditation in North Finchley

Gong Bath and Sound Meditation in North Finchley at Kids Escape

Join at our new North Finchley Venue, Kidz Escape which is just opposite Arts Depot A little smaller and more cosy than usual so spaces will be limited.

A journey of sound to experience a deep and blissful state enhanced by the power of the gong.

Feeling Stressed ?   Can’t Sleep ?   Feeling out of balance ?

Immerse yourself in the sound waves from a vibrating gong.

Fantastic for stress relief, relaxation, insomnia and so much more. Many people report back as having had ‘the best night’s sleep’ after having attended.

What happens in a Gong Bath ?

You lie down fully clothed on a camping/yoga mat on the floor, warm and cosy with a blanket covering you whilst the Gongs and other Therapeutic instruments are played. The experience can feel different each and every time and for each person. Most commonly you will drift in to a space of deep relaxation ( a meditative state brought on by the sounds of the instruments ) you may fall asleep for some of the time, you may feel that you travel with the sounds, you may even see visions, perhaps colours or even hear other sounds.  Most importantly at the end, you can feel brighter, lighter, less stressed and re-energised. The gongs can also be very healing, helping to bring your mind, body and soul in to balance and even clear blockages. At the very least you are most likely to have a damn good sleep which is great for those suffering from insomnia. Some people report back as having felt the benefits and effects even a few days after the Gong Bath.

Note for those unable to lie down, it is possible to remain seated in a chair. Lying down is the most relaxing way to experience this fabulous meditation.

Benefits

Gong sound can help to re-balance the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. It has a profound affect on our cardiovascular, autonomic, endocrine and immune systems. It is an excellent holistic and complimentary therapy for stress related issues, depression, fatigue, anger and hostility, feelings of separation, loneliness, and fear along with many other conditions related to lack of balance and harmony in the body.

Do I need Experience of Meditation ?

NO Not at all. NO EXPERIENCE Necessary. The Gongs do all the work. All that is required is a willingness to accept and receive. It is relaxing and a great de-stress.

What to Bring

Please bring what you need for comfort lying down. You will need a Yoga/Camping Mat, blanket or light cover and head cushion. When we are at our most relaxed, our body temperature can drop! To be warm and comfy is most important. Water to re-hydrate.

Preperation

Light food only up to an hour beforehand unless earlier in the day. No alcohol before the gong bath and best not afterwards too.

Laughter Gong – Laughter Yoga and Gong Meditation North London

Laughter Gong – A fun yet effective holistic Stressbuster in North London , Arts Depot North Finchley 13th June 2016

Laughter Gong is a combination of two incredible stress busters combined, Gong Meditation  and Laughter Yoga (Hasyayoga) Exercises.

There are many similarities to the benefits of prolonged Laughter and Gong Meditation as they are both excellent at boosting general wellness and reducing stress and anxiety then add to the mix the Healing benefits of Gong, Wow!!

The Session

We will start with around 25 minutes of Laughter Yoga followed by a super relaxing and healing 40 minute Gong Meditation.

What is Laughter Yoga

In a nutshell Laughter yoga is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter along with yogic breathing techniques that originate from Yoga. Laughter Yoga gives us an opportunity for extended deep belly laughter. This is the type of laughter that gives us all the health benefits and the benefits can remain with us for some time after the session! The body reacts in the same way whether the laughter is forced or natural, releasing the endorphins (happy hormones). It is these endorphins that kick in and fight stress, boost our immune system and make us feel good in so many ways.

Some of the Health Benefits from Laughter Yoga

Laughter Elevates Mood and can change your mood within minutes by releasing endorphins from your brain cells. This makes you feel good.

Laughter Yoga reduces stress and strengthens the immune system. It can also help with Pain Relief.

All in all, a workshop that will benefit you in many ways. Fantastic for stress relief, relaxation, insomnia and more. Many people report back as having had ‘the best night’s sleep’ after having attended a gong meditation.

Followed by a Journey of Sound to Relax and De-Stress whilst bathing in layers of Sound.

December 14th Gong Bath and Sound Meditation – North London

To Book, please scroll to the bottom of the page. A journey of sound to experience a deep and blissful state enhanced by the power of the gong.

The sounds that come out of the gongs are very unfathomable and very difficult for the human brain to follow, this results in surrender, and you will drift into a deep meditative state, this can happen once or many times throughout a session, everyone can have a different experience. Every session is different. During the Sound Bath you will hear various sounds from Gong and other soothing instruments. The gong bath is very good at relieving stress.

Please note gong baths are best received when lying down comfortably however it is possible for anyone who can not lie down to receive the gong bath seated in a chair. (Please let us know in advance so that we can ensure that we have a chair for you)
