Special New Moon Gong Bath Meditation – Arts Depot Finchley – North London

One and a Half Hour – Sunday Shake, Laugh, Move, Release and Relax in this Special extended Experiential New Moon Active Gong Bath

To Book, please scroll to the bottom of the page!!!

A little different to our usual format specially for New Moon ending in a full length Gong and Sound Journey. Will help you release stress, blockages and what no longer serves you. It is all about letting go! and making way for “The New” A perfect cleanse, de-stress and renewal.

A one and a half hour experience beginning with a little laughter and movement/shaking to release anything that no longer serves you using Rattles and Drum with a shamanic influence. Followed by a really deep gong bath and a little time for sharing after the session. If you have your own rattle, please bring it along. We will ask you to wear a blind fold during the movement part which will help you to  lose your inhibitions and truly let go. You can move as much or as little as you like.  What is important is that you move a little, no rhythm requires or at least shake out with the rattles. No one is looking at you, No one is Judging.

Please note, we will be moving for around 15 minutes.

It’s powerful, fun, good exercise, a workout for mind, body and soul.

No experience necessary. The Gongs do all the work. All that is required is a willingness to accept and receive.  Just bring a mat, blanket and cushion, whatever you need to be comfy, cozy and warm.

IMPORTANT What should I bring

Wear loose comfortable clothing. Please bring water, a yoga mat or similar, a blanket or sleeping bag and cushion or pillow for total relaxation and warmth. Body temperature can drop rapidly during the gong bath.

Full Moon Gong and Sound Bath Meditation – North London 11th Feb

Full Moon Gong  and Sound Meditation in North London – Finchley Arts Depot Saturday 11th Feb 2017

Experience a powerful healing journey of sound arriving at a deep and blissful state enhanced by the gongs and other therapeutic instruments.

February’s Full Moon is commonly known as the Full Snow Moon or Hunger Moon by the American Indians. The Apache Indians referred to it as the “frost sparkling in the sun” Moon while the Omaha Indians referred to it as the “moon when geese come home”.

Feeling Stressed ? Can’t Sleep ? Feeling out of balance ?

Immerse yourself in the sound waves from a vibrating gong.

Fantastic for stress relief, relaxationinsomnia and so much more. Many people report back as having had ‘the best night’s sleep’ after having attended.

To Book, Please Scroll to the bottom of the page

What happens in a Gong Bath ?

You lie down fully clothed on a camping/yoga mat on the floor, warm and cosy with a blanket covering you whilst the Gongs and other Therapeutic instruments are played. The experience can feel different each and every time and for each person. Most commonly you will drift in to a space of deep relaxation ( a meditative state brought on by the sounds of the instruments ) you may fall asleep for some of the time, you may feel that you travel with the sounds, you may even see visions, perhaps colours or even hear other sounds.  Most importantly at the end, you can feel brighter, lighter, less stressed and re-energised. The gongs can also be very healing, helping to bring your mind, body and soul in to balance and even clear blockages. At the very least you are most likely to have a damn good sleep which is great for those suffering from insomnia. Some people report back as having felt the benefits and effects even a few days after the Gong Bath.

Note for those unable to lie down, it is possible to remain seated in a chair. Lying down is the most relaxing way to experience this fabulous meditation.

Benefits

Gong sound can help to re-balance the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. It has a profound affect on our cardiovascular, autonomic, endocrine and immune systems. It is an excellent holistic and complimentary therapy for stress related issues, depression, fatigue, anger and hostility, feelings of separation, loneliness, and fear along with many other conditions related to lack of balance and harmony in the body.

Do I need Experience of Meditation ?

NO Not at all. NO EXPERIENCE Necessary. The Gongs do all the work. All that is required is a willingness to accept and receive. It is relaxing and a great de-stress.

What to Bring

Please bring what you need for comfort lying down. Usually a yoga or camping mat, blanket or light cover. When we are at our most relaxed, our body temperature can drop! Best to be warm and comfy. Water to re-hydrate.

Preperation

Light food only up to an hour beforehand unless earlier in the day. No alcohol before the gong bath and best not afterwards too.
