Gong Bath Meditation Saturday 29th April in Archway

Saturday Gong Bath and Sound Journey Meditation in London Archway

Fantastic for stress relief, relaxation, insomnia and so much more. Many people report back as having had ‘the best night’s sleep’ after having attended.

The Sound journey will include many instruments including Gongs, Shamanic Drums , Rattles, Singing Bowls, Koshi Chimes, Wind Wand, Ocean Drum, Rain Sticks etc:  Odette works intuitively and the accompanying instruments used on the day may vary.

What happens in a Gong Bath ?

You lie down fully clothed on a camping/yoga mat on the floor, warm and cosy with a blanket covering you whilst the Gongs and other Therapeutic instruments are played. The experience can feel different each and every time and for each person. Most commonly you will drift in to a space of deep relaxation ( a meditative state brought on by the sounds of the instruments ) you may fall asleep for some of the time, you may feel that you travel with the sounds, you may even see visions, perhaps colours or even hear other sounds.  Most importantly at the end, you can feel brighter, lighter, less stressed and re-energised. The gongs can also be very healing, helping to bring your mind, body and soul in to balance and even clear blockages. At the very least you are most likely to have a damn good sleep which is great for those suffering from insomnia. Some people report back as having felt the benefits and effects even a few days after the Gong Bath.

Note for those unable to lie down, it is possible to remain seated in a chair. Lying down is the most relaxing way to experience this fabulous meditation.

Benefits

Gong sound can help to re-balance the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. It has a profound affect on our cardiovascular, autonomic, endocrine and immune systems. It is an excellent holistic and complimentary therapy for stress related issues, depression, fatigue, anger and hostility, feelings of separation, loneliness, and fear along with many other conditions related to lack of balance and harmony in the body.

Do I need Experience of Meditation ?

NO Not at all. NO EXPERIENCE Necessary. The Gongs do all the work. All that is required is a willingness to accept and receive. It is relaxing and a great de-stress.

What to Bring

Laughter Gong – Laughter Yoga and Gong Meditation North London

Laughter Gong – A fun yet effective holistic Stressbuster in North London , Arts Depot North Finchley 13th June 2016

Laughter Gong is a combination of two incredible stress busters combined, Gong Meditation  and Laughter Yoga (Hasyayoga) Exercises.

There are many similarities to the benefits of prolonged Laughter and Gong Meditation as they are both excellent at boosting general wellness and reducing stress and anxiety then add to the mix the Healing benefits of Gong, Wow!!

The Session

We will start with around 25 minutes of Laughter Yoga followed by a super relaxing and healing 40 minute Gong Meditation.

What is Laughter Yoga

In a nutshell Laughter yoga is a practice involving prolonged voluntary laughter along with yogic breathing techniques that originate from Yoga. Laughter Yoga gives us an opportunity for extended deep belly laughter. This is the type of laughter that gives us all the health benefits and the benefits can remain with us for some time after the session! The body reacts in the same way whether the laughter is forced or natural, releasing the endorphins (happy hormones). It is these endorphins that kick in and fight stress, boost our immune system and make us feel good in so many ways.

Some of the Health Benefits from Laughter Yoga

Laughter Elevates Mood and can change your mood within minutes by releasing endorphins from your brain cells. This makes you feel good.

Laughter Yoga reduces stress and strengthens the immune system. It can also help with Pain Relief.

All in all, a workshop that will benefit you in many ways. Fantastic for stress relief, relaxation, insomnia and more. Many people report back as having had ‘the best night’s sleep’ after having attended a gong meditation.

Followed by a Journey of Sound to Relax and De-Stress whilst bathing in layers of Sound.

(sold out) London Gong Workshop with Don Conreaux & Tone of Life

Gong Training Workshop in London UK with Don Conreaux and Tone of Life, Abby delSol and Tom Soltron

The Gong with Sacred Healing Ceremonies

Please note: this workshop has now sold out. You can join the mailing list for cancellations here: http://eepurl.com/bnQErn

Introducing the practice of Sound Healing with the Gong. Looking at individual (one to one) healing session, public Gong Bath and Sacred Tone Improvisation public performances. This workshop suitable for all levels of experience.

The ancient mystics believed that through the sound of the Gong people share universal life force. Gong Therapy is a method of bringing back balance and peace in the midst of the storm of life. A Gong Bath is a one hour concert with the sound of the Gong. The Individual session goes to the personal need of each participant.

Sacred Tone Improvisation is one of the oldest art forms. A way of pure intuition to connect us with ourselves, our environment and our Soul. Over the last few centuries it has been set to one side by modern musical systems, repeating and following the rules of the a system which destroys our uniqueness. Improvisation is the way to intuition and a mature relationship with other human beings and our surroundings. Without loosing your individuality, you will be part of the Whole In finding yourself through improvisation, you will find yourself able to improvise in life with full expression…

True sound comes from the Heart, from within, from the soul. Merge with this sound and follow it!!!

This workshop also introduces Muscle Emotion Meridian Gong Yoga, a simple, accessible system and can be adjusted to the physical and emotional needs of each individual. Anyone can practice it, independent of age. It is a physical practice based on the principles of Chiropractor muscle testing study, Traditional Chinese Medicine Meridians, Chi flow, Yoga and resistance work, to find the intricate relationship between our physical and emotional body.

In the MEM Gong Yoga of Holistic Resonance, the terms Enlightenment, Samadhi, Liberation and Bliss are all about the Release of Creative Power within ourselves. Freedom of creativity is Gong Consciousness. It is also an indicator of physical-emotional-mental-spiritual fullness of resonance.

During this workshop:

  •  We will discuss and share ways of playing the Gong, theory and practice. How to offer a basic Gong Bath or use the Gong as a compliment to other holistic therapies.
  • We will present the MEM Gong Yoga in an interactive way, in which the participant will become familiar with the link between our body and emotions.
  • We will guide you through and demonstrate Sacred Sound Healing Ceremony. In an interactive way each participant will get a flavour of the weaving of Sacred Tone through spontaneous improvisation using the Gong, Himalayan singing bowls, flutes, the voice and other archaic and modern instruments.

All participants will receive a Certificate of attendance.

Who is this workshop for:

Open to all levels. The workshop is free flowing and at the start the teachers will discuss the needs and expectations of participants and the weekend will flow according to everyone’s needs.  It’s ideal for anyone wishing to simply explore gong, learn how to play the gong, add gong to their existing holistic practice, or experienced gongers who feel a calling to explore more and improve their gong playing techniques. This workshop is a rare opportunity to experience the teachings of Don Conreaux, Tom and Abby.

For beginners: this workshop will introduce gong healing, giving you a solid foundation for individual healing sessions, public Gong Baths, and improvised public performances. This workshop does cover the introductory basics of Gong playing and theory.

For experienced gongers: Go deeper into your mastery of gonging and various aspects of gong therapy with the loving guidance of the Gong Masters. This is an opportunity to spiral deeper into your practice, by further exploring Sacred Tone improvisation and MEM Gong Yoga.

What to bring

All gongs and equipment are provided on the day. Please bring a packed lunch and a blanket to keep warm when receiving a gong bath.

ALL PROGRAMS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL. Refunds are only offered for ticket price or workshop price in the event of cancellation of the event/s by the organisers.

Justin and I look forward to welcoming you all in sharing our love for Sound Healing and my own love for the Gong.

TONE OF LIFE MYSTERIOUS TREMENDUM 2015 EUROPEAN GONG CONCERT TOUR

“We welcome you to an amazing, transformational Musical Mystery experience which will feature a fusion of the Mother Cosmo Gong and her family with ancestral and modern instruments and the Human Voice.  Combination of alpha and omega music, dissonance and harmony which will take you on an inner journey. Music in full, dissonant music which creates life, is the music of the Now. Harmonious and coherent music that dissolves in the physical background.

Syntonic rules of rarely used musical way, were suggested by Dane Rudhyar in his music of dissonant harmony – Syntony – a synthesis of tone differences made in order to bring about a different, dimensionless world of endless potential.

We perform these concerts regularly in many countries around the world, since 2002.  Joined by our local hosts and musicians skilled in Sacred Tone Improvisation to perform together spontaneously where each musician is regarded as a channel in an inspired ensemble of equal masters. Bringing the audience to a deep state of the ‘Here and Now’. This will be the first tour of this magnitude in Europe.  Bringing the message of Peace and Unity through sound.

The purpose and goal of Tone of Life Mysterious Tremendum is to nurture the quantum shifting of consciousness of the audience in order to initiate an inclusive state of universality rather than an exclusive one. All of the concerts are healing concerts using holistic resonance of the gong as its mystic chord. Every concert we play we dedicate to World Peace.

A strong musical influence for these concerts is Pianist/Composer Dane Rudhyar who originated what he called Syntonic Music. Rudhyar believed that the Human Kingdom and Nature’s Deva Kingdom could be brought together in a functional synthesis enabling the audience members who were considered Initiates to experience a shift in consciousness. They at that time saw it as spiritual initiation through a mystical chord resulting in a more aware working together union of humanity with nature. Spontaneity of Spiritual Free-Jazz as well as the Holy Sound Improvisation always appears at the gates of eternity, the oneness of the Now.  Rudhyar believed that this was Alpha/Omega music, both Primal and Electronic fused together.

Come join us, as without a mystery there would be no act of creation, so we invite you to discover the great mystery that awaits us inherently as the Soul Theatre.

In Holistic Resonance,

Tom Soltron, Abby delSol & Don Conreaux”
