Gong Bath Meditation Saturday 29th April in Archway

Saturday Gong Bath and Sound Journey Meditation in London Archway

Fantastic for stress relief, relaxation, insomnia and so much more. Many people report back as having had ‘the best night’s sleep’ after having attended.

The Sound journey will include many instruments including Gongs, Shamanic Drums , Rattles, Singing Bowls, Koshi Chimes, Wind Wand, Ocean Drum, Rain Sticks etc:  Odette works intuitively and the accompanying instruments used on the day may vary.

What happens in a Gong Bath ?

You lie down fully clothed on a camping/yoga mat on the floor, warm and cosy with a blanket covering you whilst the Gongs and other Therapeutic instruments are played. The experience can feel different each and every time and for each person. Most commonly you will drift in to a space of deep relaxation ( a meditative state brought on by the sounds of the instruments ) you may fall asleep for some of the time, you may feel that you travel with the sounds, you may even see visions, perhaps colours or even hear other sounds.  Most importantly at the end, you can feel brighter, lighter, less stressed and re-energised. The gongs can also be very healing, helping to bring your mind, body and soul in to balance and even clear blockages. At the very least you are most likely to have a damn good sleep which is great for those suffering from insomnia. Some people report back as having felt the benefits and effects even a few days after the Gong Bath.

Note for those unable to lie down, it is possible to remain seated in a chair. Lying down is the most relaxing way to experience this fabulous meditation.

Benefits

Gong sound can help to re-balance the physical, emotional and spiritual bodies. It has a profound affect on our cardiovascular, autonomic, endocrine and immune systems. It is an excellent holistic and complimentary therapy for stress related issues, depression, fatigue, anger and hostility, feelings of separation, loneliness, and fear along with many other conditions related to lack of balance and harmony in the body.

Do I need Experience of Meditation ?

NO Not at all. NO EXPERIENCE Necessary. The Gongs do all the work. All that is required is a willingness to accept and receive. It is relaxing and a great de-stress.

What to Bring

Please bring what you need for comfort lying down. Usually a yoga or camping mat, blanket or light cover. When we are at our most relaxed, our body temperature can drop! Best to be warm and comfy. Water to re-hydrate.

Preparation

Light food only up to an hour beforehand unless earlier in the day. No alcohol before the gong bath and best not afterwards too.

worldsoundhealingday

World Sound Healing Day – 2 hours of Gong and Drum Bath Sound Immersions with Odette and Justin –

The 14th of February is World Sound Healing Day

As we heal ourselves, we heal the planet. As we heal the planet, we heal ourselves.

Join 1000’s of people worldwide sounding the AH sound on this day with the intention of bringing peace and healing to our Mother Earth. Sound coupled with intention provides a truly powerful avenue for healing.

Sound healing is a powerful healing modality, as it bridges the non-physical (the unseen spiritual worlds, primordial intention, loving energy, and Source) with the physical; the sound wave vibrations become carriers through air and matter, into our auric fields and physical bodies.

Sound healing is a healing transmission that we receive in our physical bodies (which is important, because it’s in the physical realm that we experience our life and the world). Our bones, organs and the water in our bodies resonate with the healing vibrations that are divinely guided, and broadcast during the playing of the gong, drum, voice and other instruments.

Odette Kurland and Justin Luria invite you whole-heartedly to this celebration of sound healing, which is dedicated to the gentle awakening of the human heart (all healing and spiritual practices have that goal, but as it’s also Valentine’s day, we’ll be particularly conscious of it!)

What to expect.

Together we will be sounding forth for 5 minutes with an “AH” encoded with the energies of love and compassion. Together we project a “Sonic Valentine” to our Mother Earth that helps in assisting the healing of our planet!

Then we will start with grounding exercises and movement, to help us come more into our bodies and to raise energy for our healing. Then there will be a shamanic drum bath, where the nourishing and supportive energies of the earth and spirit will be channelled through the drumming and vocal toning. After the drum bath we’ll have some gentle movement to integrate the experience, and to transition us to the gong bath. The gong bath (with the two beautiful symphonic gongs) and other therapeutic instruments will take us into a state of deep relaxation as we touch into primordial being through the doorway of sound. After the gong bath will be a grounding integration, and an opportunity to share your experience and ask questions.
